March 11th Evolution Lecture in Bristol RI

On Sunday, March 11 at 3:00 pm Kenneth R. Miller, Professor of Biology at Brown University, will lecture at the Bristol Statehouse on the Common on the topic "Darwin, God, and the First Amendment: Teaching Evolution in a Climate of Controversy."

Professor Miller is the author of the book Finding Darwin's God - A Search fro Common Ground between God and Evolution.

Miller is a widely published scholar, and has served as an expert witness at state hearings on First Amendment issues in teaching evolution in public high schools. He is science adviser for PBS's Nightline, and served as consultant for NOVA's recent PBS series on evolution.
